Linda moved from Hartford, SD where she was raised on the family farm and discovered her love for horses. She raised her two sons Jason and Justin on a farm a mile from where she grew up. She was actively involved in their milking operation, raising beef cattle and grain crops. Even though she was busy on the farm she never missed her son’s activities that included basketball, football, FFA, 4-H and rodeo.
In June of 2019 Linda decided to move to Hermosa after some life changes. Liking the Hermosa area, she purchased a 6-acre home in April of 2020 where she enjoys her beautiful view of the hills and sunsets.
On weekends Linda travels back to Hartford to see her three grandchildren that Jason and Jen blessed her with. Jason has taken over the family farm from his dad and Linda’s dad. If not traveling there, then to Bowman, North Dakota to see her other son Justin and his wife, Tracy, with hopes to catch them at a rodeo. Linda enjoys watching Justin steer wrestle and team roping on the heeling side. Tracy’s participates in breakaway roping, barrel racing and goat tying.
